I was browsing through my recent comments and noticed I had been tagged for the Libster Blog Award not once, but twice! So, what is this tag? Honestly it changes and morphs from blog to blog, or so it seems. The gist is that you are tagged and answer 10 or 11 questions from your tagger and then pass it on to some other bloggers (you don't have to participate). Brandi's Book Musings was tagged by Addicted To Words and author Kimberlee Ann Bastian of The Element Odysseys. I'm going to do a ginormous post and answer all of their questions. So, without further ado...here it goes.
Questions from Addicted to Words
2Q: Who is your favorite book character and why?
2A: I'm going to have to go with Merit from the Chicagoland Vampires series by Chloe Neill.
The true question is why wouldn't you love her? She is smart, pretty, loves to eat and can never gain a pound thanks to being a vamp, is a hilarious smart mouth, gets to be surrounded by beautiful men, can fight, and she gets to carry around a SWORD!
3Q: Who is your favorite author?
3A: This is a tough one...I'm going to cheat and list five! Melissa Marr, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, Richelle Mead, & Holly Black.
4Q: Movie first or book first?
4A: Definitely book first. If it is a book to movie adaptation I will always read the book first, because if I don't I chances are I will never read the book.
5Q: Contemporary or Fantasy?
5A: Contemporary at the moment
6Q: What is the worst book you've ever read and did you finish it?
6A: Harsh question...it would have to be You, maybe by Rachel Vail and I did finish it.
7Q: What is your favorite place to read?
7A: On the floor in my bedroom
8Q: On average how many books do you read every week?
8A: Being a full time student and having a full time job I normally only get to about 2 or 3 books a week.
9Q: Physical book or ebook?
9A: I going to say physical book hands down. Ebooks are great for those books that haven't made it to paper yer, but there is nothing like holding that book in your hand or seeing it sitting on your shelf.
10Q: Book store or delivered to your door?
10A: I prefer book store, but if money is tight delivered to my door!
Questions from The Element Odysseys!
1Q: Pluto, a planet or a moon?
1A: I'm going to be obstinate and say PLANET!
2Q: If you could be a cartoon character, which would you be?
2A: Princess Ariel! I always had a crush on Prince Eric and would love to get to hang out in the ocean everyday.
3Q: Disney or Nickelodeon?
4Q: What is your secret talent?
4A: When I figure it out I'll let you know.
5Q: Do you believe in ghosts?
5A: I believe that significant events from the past leave something behind. Does that make sense?
6Q: Favorite Flavor of ice cream?
6A: Ben & Jerry's Karamel Sutra or Dublin Mudslide!
7Q: Would you rather swim in a pool or a lake?
8Q: Are you involved in the arts in anyway?
8A: I participated in several art shows in high school and my best prize was Gold Medal in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and I actually have sold a piece. Now my only contribution is paying for songs on iTunes and Amazon.
9Q: Have you participated in a triathlon before?
10Q: How many licks does it take to finish a jumbo jawbreaker?
10A: As many as it takes until you get tired and hit it with a hammer
11Q: If you could be apart of any movie gang (i.e. The Sandlot, Stand By Me, Goonies, Super 8, etc) which one would it be and what would be your role?
11A: I would be a part of the Lord of the Rings boys. My role would be an uber beautiful and powerful sorceress and Legolas' true love :)
