Top Ten Tuesday 10/09

Tuesday is here! It means I have to go to English class, but it's also time for Top Ten Tuesday! What is this you might ask? Well, it is a weekly meme hosted by the amazing bloggers at The Broke and the Bookish where we all link back and share our Top Ten Tuesday lists. The topic this week is pick a previous topic! So...I looked at the lists and decided to do Top Ten Books I'd Give a Theme Song To!

~ The Disenchantments + We Are Young by F.U.N.
This song makes me think of young people having the time of their lives before they have to grow up.

~ Embrace by Jessica Shirvington + Everywhere I Go by Lissie
I love this song! It talks about angels and danger following everywhere she goes.

~ Ashes by Ilsa J. BickLeave My Body by Florence + The Machine

For me this is a song about wanting to escape everything and leave it all behind, kind of like the maing character.

~ Saving June by Hannah Harrington + Be Still by The Fray

This song is just so sweet and the characters stick together no matter what and are truly there for each other during the toughest times of their lives.

~ Nevermore by Kelly Creagh + Darkening Sky by Peter Bradley Adams

This song reminds me of Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe!

~ Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen + All I Need by Within Temptation

This song reminds me of the way that Scarlet needs Will and deep down doesn't want him to give up on her.

~ Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi + Zombie by The Pretty Reckless

This song is just badass and reminds me of how the heroine of the story has the potential to be a weapon and get back at all of those who have wronged her.

~ Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow + Closer by Kings of Leon

~ Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout + Sweet Sour by Band of Skulls

S
Sweet Sour reminds me of how rebellious ther heroine is, but also how she has lost a lot and needs both Aiden and Seth. She's Sweet Sour :)

~ Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead + Tip Of My Tongue by The Civil Wars
This book is kick butt and constant action, but this song reminds me how truly Rose and Dimitri belong together.

What did you think of my choices? Do you have a theme song for any book? Leave me a comment or a link to your Top Ten below!

  1. I haven't read the Disenchants yet, but I can totally see its theme song being We Are Young. And now I have the song in my head. :)

  2. Cool list! SCARLET actually made my TTT list too: Top Ten Books I’d Quickly Save If My House Was Going To Be Abducted By Aliens (Or Any Other Natural Disaster)

  3. Wow, great picks for all of them!! We Are Young sounds perfect for the Disenchantments and if Scarlet made you think of All I Need, then I need to read that book soon!

  4. Do you mean the way Scarlet needs Rob? Seeing as Scarlet IS Will... But now I'm humming the F.U.N. song and am strangely okay with it.
