Top Ten Tuesday

Today is Tuesday and that means Top Ten time! This week's topic is the top ten characters that remind you of yourself or someone you know. This is a hard topic and I'll try my best. This meme is hosted by the awesome bloggers at The Broke and The Bookish where you can find past, present, and future Top Ten topics.

10.) Beauty Queens by Libba Bray

It's not so much the character as the entire book. This satire reminds me of my sister, Stephanie, who is anti-airhead, sarcastic, and critical at the best of times but ultimately still lovable.

8&9.) Sydney Sage from Bloodlines by Richelle Mead & Kat from Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Sydney reminds me of myself in the fact that she gets nervous/paranoid when things are just right, she's smart, and likes to follow the rules (most of the time).

I took great liberties with these ladies reminding me of myself. Obviously I don't live next to an uber hot alien (unfortunately), but I am a book blogger like her :)

...as for the rest...I give up. While writing this post and pouring over my bookshelves I've got nothing. Instead, I will move on to characters that would make up the ULTIMATE me!

7.) Remy King from Hollowland by Amanda Hocking

Seriously, I want this girl's survival skills. She can kick some serious zombie butt!

6.) Claire from the Morganville series by Rachel Caine
Claire's smarts is something that I envy. The girl gets points for being so mathematically and scientifically inclined. Both are subjects which I am found seriously lacking in.

5.) Riley Blackthorne from The Demon Trapper's by Jana Oliver
Her ability to stay cool under pressure and be down to earth despite her awesomeness is something I would want to have.

4.)Aislinn from Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
This one is easy. I want to be a faerie queen. The End.

3.) Rose Hathaway from the Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
I want Rose's fighting skills and unrepentent attitude. This girl is one of my literary heroes.

2.) Merit from The Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neil
Merit can eat like a horse, never gains a pound, and looks amazing in leather. That should express everything inviable.

1.) Elena from the Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith (the TV show)
I want to be admired, adored, loved, etc. by Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley :)

Were you able to complete this Top Ten Tuesday unlike me? What characters would make the perfect you? Leave me links and comments below so I can check it out.
