Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter

Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter

Kylie Galen has had a rough time. Her dad is leaving her mother, her boyfriend just broke up with her, and she sees dead people. Her psychiatrist and mother have come up with the bright idea that Kylie needs to go to camp Shadow Falls for a change of pace. From the moment she steps on the bus Kylie knows there is something strange about her camp mates. When she arrives and is told the pupose of the camp she has no doubt that she doesn't belong here. Shadow Falls is a camp for supernaturals; werewolves, shape-shifters, witches, faeries, and vampires all spend their summer here. Kylie is just a normal human...or so she thinks. Apparently seeing a dead soldier walking around isn't all that human. To complicate matters more a sexy faerie keeps hitting on her and a boy from her past is here and just happens to be a werewolf. Kylie's biggest problem is that no one seems to know just what she is. This will definitely be an interesting summer as Kylie is introduced to a whole new world and a whole new set of problems.

Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter is a fun light paranormal romance. If you are looking for an easy escape this is the book for you. There is no lesson to be learned or a hidden meaning lurking in the pages, just good escapist fun. I actually really liked this book. In fact I finished it in one night. I give this book a 3 1/2 out of 5.
